The Manta Chair prioritises sustainability in design.

In form, the Manta chair is composed of two components, the solid timber frame and the removable fabric sling, giving the chair a relaxed, effortless feel. The sling is made from Hemp Canvas and filled with Kapok- a natural, biodegradable fibre which grows on trees without human interference or pesticide use. The frame is finished in an environmentally-friendly oil.

The Manta Chair was designed by Helsinki-based designer Tatu Laakso.

The sling is made from Hemp Canvas and filled with Kapok- a natural, biodegradable fibre which grows on trees without human interference or pesticide use.
