Tom Fereday was engaged to design a suite of furniture for the newly renovated Art Gallery of New South Wales. Tom approached Mast to come on board as a manufacturing partner for the project. Tom understood that a highly skillful and technically capable partner would be required to undertake the design development and production of the furniture. The focus was on a chair designed exclusively for the gallery's members dining areas. Mast prototyped and developed the chair and then produced 100+ chairs for the project. Along with the AGNSW chair we produced cafe tables, bar stools and low stools.
